Reading Roadrunners Shinfield 10Km
"A springtime 10Km through the country lanes of Shinfield, Ryeish Green and Spencers Wood with a May Day Fete"
The 2012 Shinfield 10Km is to be held on
May Day Bank Holiday Monday - 7th May 2012 Starting at 10:30am
The 10Km course has been certified as accurate by UK Athletics Certificate number 10/133 and there is a £100 prize for anyone who breaks the course records. These stand at 29.32 for men, and 35.09 for women.
10Km race (16+) starts at 10:30 prompt and you can enter by postal entry, online entry or entry on the day (subject to availability), please note late entry desk closes at 10:00.
There will be medals for all those who finish within 90 minutes as well as trophies for the first three male, and female finishers, and for winners (both men and women) in the following age categories (40-49), (50-59), (60-69) and (70+).
There will also be prizes for the first male and female local (RG2/RG7) runners.
No runner may win more than one prize
Car parking (limited, please car share if possible), baggage tent, refreshments, sports massage facility and first aid are all onsite with a drink station enroute at 5km. May Day Fete starts at 10:00am on the Village Green.

Any profits from the run will go to the Shinfield Association and local charities. Last year more than £4,800 went to local organisations.
